 教学设计

 Unit 1 Has it arrived yet? 教材分析 本单元为听说课,围绕 Daming 和 Tony 之间关于制作飞船模型的对话展开,涉及登月、火星探索等信息,使学生理解 already, just, yet 在现在完成时中的使用。由于涉及到的新词汇较多和学生知识面较窄,教师需要事先布置预习任务,让学生利用身边的资源了解太空知识以及太空探索,课堂上教师还需进行必要的背景知识介绍,为新课的学习做好铺垫。

 课时教学目标 1. To be able to understand conversations about space travel and identify specific information

 2. To talk about recent events in space travel with the Present Perfect and already, just and yet.

 教学重点与难点 1.教学重点 (1)重点词汇: earth, moon, news, planet, reach, yet, just, project, no problem, latest, on, space travel (2)重点句型:-Have you … yet?

 -Yes, I / we have already / just …

 -No, not yet. / No, I / we haven’t … yet.

 -I have been to …

 He/ She has gone to … (3)话题:宇宙探索 2.教学难点 (1)在现在完成时中正确使用 already, just, yet (2)have been to 与 have gone to 的区别。

 (3)运用现在完成时描述人类已经实施的太空探索计划。重点:

 To understand and use the key words and phrases correctly

 To understand conversations about space travel

 To understand Present Perfect with already, just and yet. 难点:

 通过观看视频进行头脑风暴,激活学生的背景知识,培养发散思维能力。

 通过问问题,激发学生的好奇心和求知欲。

 Step 2: Listening (Activities 1 & 2) 1. Vocabulary

 1)Look at a picture and talk about the following question in groups of four:

 1) What words and expressions can you think out when talking about the mysterious universe?

 ( space, scientists, astronauts, spaceship, planets, space station, galaxy, solar system...) 2) Have astronauts been to the moon?

 3) Have they discovered life on the moon? 4) Have the scientists sent spaceships to Mars yet? 5) Have they discovered life on Mars yet?

 Simply introduce Neil Armstrong, Yang Liwei and Liu Yang to Ss. 通过小组间互助合作,可以培养学生团队意识和协作能力。

 通过设计相关问题,让学生简单了解人类登月和火星探索方面的知识,为下面的听力环节解决了词汇障碍。

 2. Listen and number the words (Activity1)

 1) Tell students to listen to some news about the trip to Mars. 2) Read the words before listening to make sure Ss understand them。

 入理解活动,听力内容为一则关于火星探索的新闻。为 Activity 2 的听力活动做了词汇上的准备。

 听前对要所填的空白进行预测,有助于缓释学生的听力焦虑情绪,同时培养学生的猜测能力。

 (Activities 3,4) 1. Listen and answer the questions: 1) Are there any astronauts in the spaceship? 2) Has anyone been to Mars? Let Ss read the questions before listening, then listen。

 Answer individually then check with partners. Call back the answers in pairs by asking and

 answering.

 2. Listen and repeat the dialogue, then answer the questions in groups (Activity 3). 1) What school project have Daming and Tony got?

 2) How does Daming feel about the school project?

 初听,了解对话大意。听前读问题,提高听力的目的性和针对性。以问答的形式回答问题,注意调动所有学生的学习积极性。

 4) Why hasn’t anyone been to Mars? 5) How can I get information on space travel? Call back the answers in pairs by asking and listening, and give out the reasons. 3. Watch and listen, then role-play the dialogue. Practice in roles and show their dialogue, the best group will get a surprise. 4. Underline the sentences with already, just and yet. Encourage Ss to tell how to use already, just and yet in Present Perfect tense. 5. Stand up to read the dialogue loudly, then complete the passage in Activity 4. On today’s news, Tony has heard that scientists have (1) ____ a spaceship to Mars andit has (2) _______ on the (3) _____ after a journey of several months from the earth. Scientists have not (4) _________ life on Mars (5) ___. And no astronaut has ever been to Mars because it is very far away. Finish it individually, then check with partners. 细节理解,问题稍有难度,通过小组合作探究的方式解决问题,可以培养学生合作学习,学会分享的能力。

 观看动画,培养形象思维能力;分角色朗读,培养语感,进一步理解文章;给予奖励,培养学生的竞争意识。让学生通过自己观察含有 jus,t already 和 yet 句子,总结归纳用法,培养自主学习能力。通过选词完成短文,培养学生把对话转化成语篇的能力,为写作打基础。
